Pleasure tasting on Lake Constance, Distillerie Senft, Salem
To get us in the mood for the area, we will take a guided tour of the impressive ensemble of baroque monastery buildings in Salem before noon.
In the afternoon, we take a look behind the scenes at the Senft distillery (www.senft-destillerie.de), taste spirits like a sommelier and sample whisky straight from the barrel in the whisky warehouse.
After all, the monks weren't averse to enjoyment either.

Whisky hike up the Napf, Luthern Bad Lucerne
To mark the bank holidays, we hike up the highest mountain in the Central Plateau at 1406 m. Once at the top, we enjoy the unique panoramic view of the Alps and enjoy refreshments from our rucksacks or at the Napf mountain restaurant of our choice. A selection of whiskies from Nc'Nean to try is of course a must. After the hike, if you feel like it, you can cool your feet in the arm and foot bath in the Luthern Bad resort. Autumn excursion to HeiligenBergFeld Distillery
"This is a distillery not a factory" This year's autumn excursion takes us to HeiligenBergFeld Distillery in Herrsching in Fünfseenland, Bavaria.
We walk from Andechs to the distillery in around 75 minutes, where owner and distiller Achim März awaits us for a tour of the distillery followed by a tasting and BBQ.
We then return to Andechs and spend the night at the Hotel Post.
On Sunday we visit Andechs Monastery, where Benedictine monks have been praying and working on the Heiligenberg since 1455. Of course, a beer from the monastery's own brewery is a must. And it is also wonderful without %. The Andechser Helle non-alcoholic beer has just been honoured as the novelty of the year.

McWey goes Berlin again with cho cooks! This time, we're organizing a Nordic whisky tasting for our Berlin community , accompanied by Scandinavian tapas. Of course, the McWey Whisky Clan 2025 Edition will also be available for sampling. A taste and enjoyment experience in perfect harmony.

Appenzeller Whiskytrek 2025
In 2025, we will hike together to collect the Appenzeller Whiskytrek finisher trophy, an original Appenzeller belt with a genuine silver buckle made by mountain saddler Roger Dörig.
26 mountain inns in the Alpstein are taking part and each inn has its own whisky barrel. Visit one or even better several of them and buy a 10cl bottle at CHF 25 each for the clan. The price will then be refunded to you. You can find the map on the website.

Presentation McWey Clan Edition 2025

Langnau am Albis
This year we are presenting the McWey Edition 2025, a wonderful 13-year-old Inchgower from a Pedro Ximenez Quarter Cask, in the buildings of the Langnau am Albis spinning mill.
We are also launching the cask sharing of the "Swiss Whisky Project" (see Cask Collective) and we are opening the Cotten Club Whisky Bar exclusively for clan members.
